That’s right, poet purgatory –
a political prisoner because she wrote a book…

Naturally, there’s a bit of contention around attribution.
Usual stuff.
Carlotta is PETTY – of little or no importance.
But Shakespeare is a TYRANT – one who controls the narrative.
Escaping is simple if she’ll just regurgitate 500 years of Bardoltry exactly as decreed by the scholars and reinforce the Shakespeare Industrial Complex.
Which would be easy if it weren’t for poetry and jazz.
